Gold mines in Yellowknife, NT
This log cabin was located on the Con Mine, for Consolidated Mining, south of Yellowknife. The sign indicates that it dates from 1938 and was used to store explosives, among other things. This was to be temporary, as normally stocks were kept in places with reinforced walls strong enough to withstand an accidental explosion.
