Old houses in Toronto, ON
Zion Schoolhouse was built north of Toronto in 1869 in what was then a small farming community. It was intended to provide free education to children from the surrounding farms to teach them essential knowledge. The two doors were typically separate entrances for girls and boys. However, there was only a single room for the different ages. The decor of a 1910 classroom has been recreated there.
