The Main’s murals, Montreal, QC
Boulevard Saint Laurent is a historic street in Montreal. It serves as an administrative boundary between the west and east sides of the city, as well as an informal border between the Anglophone and Francophone sides. It is colloquially known as The Main, for Main Street. At the corner of Sherbrooke Street, a restaurant is decorated with a mural depicting Mary Poppins. The artwork is by artist Antoine Tavaglione and was completed in 2016.
