In Port au Choix, it is quite far from the commercial architecture of the big cities. No large shop windows with flashy signs, just a converted form of warehouse. The sober facade of the local supermarket, however, has this elegant crenellation forming a design that can also be observed on other buildings.

It’s a nice detail, especially since it was carried through to other buildings. Better than plain square!

Exactly. Every time a detail is added to what is just necessary, it raises questions about the reason.
