Batoche is located in Saskatchewan in the Canadian Prairies. Batoche is a symbol for the Métis who fought there in 1885 after rebelling against the federal government. Today, an interpretation centre allows visitors to learn more about this specific culture and to visit the last vestiges of the village of yesteryear.
