Fall in Quebec, QC
A lakeside cottage, Quebec’s summer ideal, here in the Eastern Townships. But it’s no longer time, the leaves have fallen, leaving only a few tenacious stragglers to face the first snows. It’s time to head south to extend the beautiful season a little longer, Ontario having a slightly later peak.

The scene looks beautiful even after prime fall colour time. Love the birch trees. The Eastern Townships are gorgeous.

The colours are gone but there is a feeling of serenity, a resigned serenity as the snow arrives. It is true that birch trees help to structure the image. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks. I had to break the rule of thirds, but I think it’s worth it.
