Fall in Ontario, ON
Algonquin Park is certainly the best place in Ontario to find nature at its best. It was Canada’s first provincial park, established in 1893 to better manage the logging operations. Gradually open to the public, some parts are however reserved for wildlife. Lake Opeongo is the largest lake in the park, with canoes and kayaks providing access to less frequented areas. A water taxi service is also available to avoid unnecessary paddling.

The canoe really adds something to this image.

Really it does, and it adds something to a visit to Algonquin Park as roads and trails don’t go as far as lakes and rivers.
