Transhumance in Aubrac

The land is beginning to grow in elevation, the trees are becoming scarce. Each year the Transhumance is an opportunity for thousands of visitors to come back to see family or friends. Potentially to help drive the herd on the road by walking, at least in part, for the tens of kilometres. Aubrac cows are remarkably calm and docile, undisturbed by the commotion around them. Their strong horns are not a danger.
