Transhumance in Aubrac
Now the road overlooks the landscape, the mountain pastures are not far away. If the distance proves too long for some cows, they are sometimes loaded into a truck to shorten their effort. Actually, with modern means of transport, the migration of the herd is spread out over a longer period. However, the farmers and inhabitants of the region remain attached to the tradition of the annual transhumance of the Aubrac cows.
