Most visited in Paris

(continuer en français)

The Eiffel Tower, here honoured by the Patrouille de France, only comes second with 7.1 million visitors. This is the physical limit, of not being able to accommodate more people due to the narrowness of the premises. More visitors can only be gained marginally by extending the opening hours. The Paris Tourist Office’s ranking also mentions the monuments with free access, Notre-Dame and the Sacré-Coeur would top the ranking, based on estimates.

  1. The Patrouille de France is one of the Air Force stunt teams that I have not seen! But then again, I was too little to know about them when I lived in France! I’m hoping next time I visit, I can time it so that I can see them!

      • Indeed! I have seen the Red Arrows (🇬🇧), Blue Angels (🇺🇸) and most recently the Snowbirds! There are times when I do things in one or more of the countries I have lived in and then I think of the other countries and go, “I have a score to settle with you!” And seeing the Air Force stunt team in each of my countries is one of them!
