Toulouse snapshots

Toulouse, a pink city, seems self-evident when looking at the colour of its walls and roofs. However, brick and tile are less worthy materials than stone and slate, rather than boasting about it, there was even a time when Toulouse made up its bricks with white to look like stone. The pink was given to it by the poets, taken up by the tourism promoters and finally became evident once the bricks were freed from their plaster.
