At the other end of the Allées Jean-Jaurès, stands the Arche Marengo, an asymmetrical arch occupied mainly by a media library. The building dates from 2004 and is covered with terracotta slats to block out the light and heat of the sun, while also responding to the colour code of the pink city.

    • It’s true that it’s not very innovative architecture, it has more of a functional role, but coming at the end of one of the city’s perspectives, it could indeed be a bit more spectacular.
