Weekend in Nantes
Train stations in major French cities are being reinvented. With increasing numbers of travellers, whether on the main TGV lines or on regional lines for local populations, new spaces are needed to accommodate more people, while taking advantage of this opportunity to add other activities. The new mezzanine of Nantes station, which opened in 2020, fulfils these different missions by offering a commercial street above and across the tracks.
