Such a large space in the middle of Paris attracts many interests, and there are always reasons to occupy it for various occasions. More recently, a step forward was taken with the long-lasting construction of a replacement Grand Palais, during the lengthy works planned for the original, which usually hosts exhibitions and trade fairs.
