Napoleon, the Exhibition, Paris
Napoleon died two hundred years ago, on May 5, 1821. Yet he continues to impress people and to spark debate. In these times when History is revisited, often in a truncated and amnesiac way, to make it say what it was not, it is good to take the subjects back to basics, by breaking down a complex history into successive themes. This is the ambition of the exhibition held at the Grande Halle de la Villette.
