Not sure whether that was open when I visited Bordeaux…though we did take a train ride out to St Emilion, which was pretty wonderful.

It was probably a good idea, there may not be enough wine at the Cité du Vin. It is more of an intellectual presentation than a physical approach as many wine lovers would like.
