Place de la Trinité, one of the small squares left by the medieval layout of the city’s streets. Today, the café terraces have found a favourable place to spread out, taking back from the pedestrians the ground conquered over the car. The old fountain is no longer used to supply water to the inhabitants but adds its relaxing song to this quiet space.

When it’s hot, there’s always a spot in the shade, where you can take a moment in the middle of all those shopping streets.

I am always amazed at how common it has become to sit on the pavement, the odd step or even a kerb becomes a seat.
